If filling out initial client paperwork at the office, please arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment.

Client Bill of Rights
The Client Bill of Rights is my commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity in the massage industry. It details your rights as a client, ensuring your privacy and protection. You will be required to sign a copy of this document before receiving services from BODHI Massage LLC.

Cancellation Policy
In today’s hectic world unplanned issues come up for all of us. I recognize this fact, but respectfully request that you cancel your scheduled appointment online, text message, or by e-mail a minimum of 24 hours in advance. If you are unable to give me 24 hours advance notice, you may be charged up to the full price of the session scheduled. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. 

Excessive Cancellations and Rescheduling
If last minute cancellations and rescheduling become an on-going pattern, I will discuss this issue with you. If the pattern continues, you will be removed as a client. Someone who cancels every week or month, even within the 24 hour cancellation period, or consistently reschedules their appointment to a later date, takes away my ability to effectively monetize my time. Massage is my livelihood and this time has been reserved for you, please respect that.

Severe Weather Cancellation Policy
When it comes to severe weather (if a Winter Storm Warning is announced), my 24-hour cancellation policy does not apply. Simply let me know before 9:00am that day that you would like to reschedule your appointment due to weather, and I will be happy to do so. I don’t want to see anyone risk getting into an accident and possibly harming themselves just to keep an appointment. In most cases, the early notice will also help keep me from having to venture out into the nasty weather, myself!

If I have received a large number of cancellations for any particular day due to weather, and you have not cancelled yourself, you may receive a call from me asking to reschedule.

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show” 20 minutes after their scheduled time. They will be responsible for the cost of the “full” session, or, if the client is using a prepaid session or gift certificate, the certificate will be considered void and forfeited. Massage is my livelihood, and this time has been reserved for you; please respect that.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened. Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the cost of the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Right to Refusal to Massage
Under certain medical conditions, massage/bodywork may not be advised, for example when a fever is present, infection, skin rashes, or other illness or recent surgery. If a massage could be potentially harmful to a client’s condition, I have the right to decline to do the massage.

Sexual Misconduct
Sexual misconduct is forbidden and will not be tolerated. Any illicit or sexually aggressive remarks, advances or gestures will result in the immediate termination of the session and the client will be liable for full payment of the scheduled appointment.

COVID Vaccinations
Due to the close proximity required for massage services, and due to my high-risk status, a COVID vaccination is required for service at BODHI Massage. It is your right to not disclose your COVID vaccination status. If this the case, I absolutely respect that. However, this means you cannot receive services from BODHI Massage. That is my right as a business owner. Thank you for understanding and I wish you well.
