Update: COVID and the Minnesota State Fair

State Fair: August 26 – September 6

With the State Fair coming, I wanted to share some information that could have minor impacts on office visits over the next month, or so.

During the State Fair, we’ve decided to keep our main office door locked during business hours. The extra foot traffic at the bus stop during the fair has caused some challenges in the past, so we’re trying to be proactive.

I’ll simply meet you at the door and let you in, so it shouldn’t be a major concern. But if you arrive early and find the door locked, this is why. Just ring the doorbell if I’m not there to greet you.

If you plan on attending the State Fair, I hope you have a good time and stay safe. However, if you do go to the fair I ask that you don’t schedule any appointments for at least 10 days after you attend

With the rise of the COVID variants, I’m erring on the side of caution. Like many of you, I have family members who are high risk, so I’m not willing to take any chances. Masks are required during your entire visit.

Also keep in mind that traffic on and around Snelling can become heavier during the fair, not to mention unexpected road closures due to construction projects, so you may want to give yourself a little extra time on your way to your appointment.

There are many little changes that can come up almost daily, so please make sure you check your appointment reminder emails the day before your appointment. I use that to pass along reminders or last minute updates that may affect your visit.

I want to thank you for your support and understanding while I continue to navigate BODHI during COVID and maintain a healthy space for all of us.

I look forward to seeing you soon. 🙂
